THE STORY SO FAR.....
The Parkersarms in Newton in Bowland reopened on the 14th of December 2009 after a full refurbishment. A contemporary country inn and the perfect destination to EAT, DRINK and SLEEP in the heart of the Trough of Bowland. It will also include a delishop bakery selling local and homemade artisan goodies as well as an onsite cookery school by the end of June 2010.

THE TEAM
Kathy Smith and Stosie Madi have been business partners together in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years and this is their latest venture.They are joined by AJ (Kathy’s brother) a crucial member of their team and as always all three will be actively involved and fully hands on in the day to day running of Parkers arms. Kathy and Stosie's venues include the award winning Weezos restaurant Clitheroe which maintains its listing in the Good Food Guide 2010 amongst others.
Kathy AJ and an enthusiastic team will offer a warm knowledgable welcome front of house and banter at the bar. Stosie and her brigade will cook you up a storm in the kitchen.

Parkersarms is an inn for the way we eat and live today an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Our well earned reputation for unrivalled quality and tremendous value will be maintained. The Parkers Arms will offer regional and classic food using Lancashire's finest local produce as always but with a lighter modern touch and in our very own special way, a selected wine list, real ales and ensuite rooms with views. We aim for a rustic yet contemporary décor, casual yet elegant, warm and welcoming in the true Lancashire way and as functional as an English Inn should be.
